Holding Pages
Be ready...
..before you are ready
Websites take time. Time to develop and time to promote. So why wait until the website is ready to start promoting it? A holding page is to websites what trailers are to films, or what concept art is to a building site. They are your chance to tell visitors that your site is nearly ready and what they can expect from it. You can even let them subscribe to future updates via email, so that when your site is ready, you already have a list of people to market it to.
At MRG Web Development, our holding pages are simple yet effective ways to avoid losing potential customers who visit your site before it is ready. They are capable of communicating your brand, purpose and ideals through a single, temporary, well designed information page.
We achieve this by holding ourselves to the highest standard of workmanship we can, as you'd expect us to. Our passion is for well engineered code, and we strive to always improve the way our systems and processes work, ensuring that your page is as good as it can possibly be. Our Philosophy
Trust, Honesty, Quality
We believe that trust and honesty are crucial to what we do. The fact that you are coming to us to build you a website probably means that we know a lot more about it than you do. That puts us at something of an advantage, and it is central to our integrity and values that we do not exploit that situation.
We aim to always explain things as thoroughly as we can, to allow you to make informed decisions. Where we see multiple options we will present these to you with the pros and cons of each, even if we think that your choice could disadvantage us.
Whilst we always try to work as efficiently as we can, we will not compromise on the quality of our work. Web users are a savvy bunch these days, and they do not use websites or tools that they suspect aren't up to scratch.
Building for the future
As much as is possible, we will build our websites to standards that we feel will remain valid for as long into the future as we can predict. We don't want you having to come back to us in a month because your site no longer works with the latest browsers. Our belief is that any site built today should not need any design changes for an absolute minimum of 2 years. In practice we find that most website owners opt for a refreshed design every 3 or 4 years, in order to remain current, so we aim for our sites to last until they are ready to be replaced or refreshed.
